Dr. Brad Semeniuk graduated as a doctor of chiropractic in 1990 from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario. The concept of “patient centered care” was something that always resonated with me from early on in my career.
In my 30+ years of practice patients have routinely described 4 common needs;
-
- To determine a diagnosis for their complaint.
- To build a strong relationship with their doctor.
- To feel that their concerns are heard.
- To know that their care providers are empathetic.
This is the essence of the patient centered approach that I strive to achieve in my daily practice. Simply put, patients who feel known and welcome, respected, involved and engaged get better – faster! My focus is not just on “what’s the matter with my patients” but on “what matters to my patients”.
I would sincerely like to welcome you to my office.
